Full Proposal

Condition Discharge to Part Discharge Condition No.5 (Specification of Works and Method Statement - Repairs to the Archway Lantern) in respect of approved application A/22/93592/LBLA Text from metalwork specialists: We note that the central column is now not be removed and is to be restored in situ, however, we believe that the scrollwork to each side appears to be attached with rusty bolts / clamp plates (Illustrated in the attached photo). We believe that it would be best practice to remove the scrollwork to our workshop for restoration and to enable us to provide drawings for approval for the necessary lighting bracketry needed to support the new (3no) globe supporting brackets. On site, off suitable access provided, we needle gun clean the fixed column / spigot and survey & quote for any repairs discovered. Then prime and finish paint and make ready for the installation of the restored scrollwork. Lantern Globes.. We need these globes delivering to our workshops to enable us to develop the approval drawings. We can match any standard RAL or BS colour and generally match the gloss level.
